No. Conversion happens entirely in the browser; only open-source libraries are fetched when needed for formats like HEIC, TIFF and PDF.
How do I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG?
Add the .heic files, choose JPG and press Convert.
Can I convert a video to GIF?
Currently you can extract PNG or JPG frames from a video; animated GIF output is not available yet.
Why does transparency disappear in JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so it is filled with the background colour you choose. Use PNG or WebP to keep it.
